This tree was one of the 3 trees recovered from the job over 5 years ago. Like the other 2 sticks, some of these slabs are absolutely stunning. Riddled with spalting and fabulous fungus, there are some punky areas that will need some care and epoxy to stabilize or fill. At the end of the day, these slabs will be absolute stunners as a desk or book-matched table.
Once again…this wood was locally salvaged, and given a second life, in Glastonbury, CT from one of three trees we harvested from the same job, over 5 years ago.
We still have many slabs and cookies from these 3 trees.
